I just read an article on completely implantable Cochlear Implants. I am very excited to see what the future will hold for all CI's users. Just to think that my son will one day be able to hear in the pool, shower, while sleeping........ Never to be without sound is amazing. No more stress of being invited to pool parties! One day this will be available and hopefully soon......

Thanks for the interesting link! Great to hear how Jack is doing. Are you still on CI Circle? Did you know your blog comes up as one of the top hits if one searches Google with "CI Circle"?
I'm writing in the hopes that you can put a link to the new CI Circle website on your blog page. The link is www.cicircle.org The Yahoo group is unchanged and is the heart and soul of CI Circle, but now with the new website, it should be easier for new families to find. (Plus, there is a blog.)
Also, you mention swimming. Have you tried this method yet? People are using it with any brand implant that has rechargeable batteries:
